Mountain Safety Training

Mountain safety training is essential for any freerider. During this training, participants will be introduced to the correct gear and how to use it, including transceivers, shovels, and probes. Additionally, they will learn about mountain map reading and understanding weather forecasts to ensure they can navigate the mountain safely. The training will also cover first aid in case of emergencies and what to do in different situations. Overall, it will be a day filled with essential information that is crucial for anyone venturing into the mountains for freeriding.

6 hours of mountain safety training including:

9:00 to 12:00

12:00 to 13:00 - lunch break

13:00 to 16:00

gear check, essential and how to use it, pros and cons of a different brands.

hands on learning of how to use the gear like avalanche tranceivers, shovels and probes.

learning of how to read the mountain map and weather forecast, how to plan your line according to all the factors.

emergency scenario, what do to first and dont's.
